Building and operating data centers for a sustainable tomorrow
Med: Soeren Juul Schroeder and Erik Gjesdal, Sales Director for Secure Power Business - C and SP Segment manager for Nordic Baltics region på Schneider Electric Denmark
While sustainability in data centers is a complicated, long-term challenge, it is clearly a business issue. Customers are demanding it, and legislation will likely require it. Meanwhile, investors are expecting it. All of this is driving the C-Level to look at it as part of future success. In the not-too-distant future, the edge will consume more energy than big data centers, so sustainability is not just about the giants; it involves all of us.
At Schneider Electric, we started our sustainability journey a while ago, and we have a solid background to share our strategy and metrics for helping others at creating a holistic environmental sustainability strategy. IT Decision makers, Though Leaders, C-level audience is more then welcomed to this session but also Sustainability managers, IT influencers, DC professionals will benefit from our vision, strategy and discussion on hot sustainability topics.
